July has rolled around and the start of summer break for students is officially upon us! Whether you need an activity to do with the kids, have family visiting and want to go for an outing, or simply want to spend some time outside in a relaxing environment, the MHV is a great place to be this summer. Pioneer Day Camps – REGISTER NOW!

Pioneer Day Camps are just around the corner! Your kids will spend 5 fun-filled days in the Village learning pioneer skills, getting to know the farm animals, making new friends, and much more! Each week features theme-days including Pioneer Life in the Village, Pioneer Life at Home, Pioneer Career Day, Pioneer Transportation Day, and Old-Fashioned Carnival Day. July 25 – Heritage Classic Car Show

The Heritage Classic Car Show at MHV is a celebration and showcase of vintage cars from all decades! See vintage cars lined up and down our Village Main Street, connect with other auto enthusiasts from across Manitoba, and spend the day surrounded by history. Grab your favourite treats at the Short Order Booth or an authentic Russian Mennonite meal at the Livery Barn.

August 1-3 – Annual Pioneer Days Festival

Celebrate the one hundred and fifty-second anniversary of Mennonites arriving in Manitoba this summer during the August Long Weekend at our Pioneer Days festival! Immerse yourself in the life of early Mennonites in Manitoba and explore their rich history through hands-on demonstrations, steam-powered threshing, live music, and delicious food. Experience the stories that shaped the beginnings of the Mennonite community in Manitoba.
